We've got the use of either a projector and projection screen, or a large flat-screen TV. So why not take advantage of that and show some movies! This is a one-time special event presenting poly/non-monogamous (and in some cases bisexual) themed films. If the event is a success, there could be more movie nights in the future! The event will take place Monday, January 14th from 5 p.m. until around 10 p.m. -- we will run two movies back to back, chosen by popular vote at the event (see below for a list of movies that will be available to vote on). The event, including popcorn, will be free, and as usual, a variety of beverages and a small menu of food will be available to order from the pub. The Imperial Pub is located at: 54 Dundas Street East Toronto (near Dundas Station and Dundas Square). Parking can be found in the area for as little as $5 after 6 p.m. (the lot across the street and slightly East of the pub usually charges $5, and if that's full there's another on Jarvis south of Dundas that is often $5 even before 6 p.m) This event is for poly folks, non-monogamous folks or just anyone with an open heart and mind to multiple loves and the concept of a more expansive and infinite love style. The movies we have to choose from include:
....and any others people might feel like bringing along. Unfortunately, we cannot show movies that have too much explicit content, or an R or X rating such as Shortbus, out of respect for the venue's other patrons. |
